LOTTA LAMPA : (b. ) designer and artist, based in Kalix, Norrbotten, Sweden. Educated at Beckmans Design College in Stockholm and International Design Academy by Luxury Living Group, Forli, Italy. Lampa operates in an international arena and is one of a few designers from Norrbotten, in the north of Sweden who have shown her designs at Salone de Mobile in Milan on several occasions, as well as at the London Design Fair, Chart Art Fair & Design Copenhagen and Stockholm Design Week.
Lotta Lampa&#;s aesthetics are challenging and refer to both postmodernism and Swedish subculture &#;raggarkultur&#; (related to American vintage cars of the 50&#;s and 60&#;s) and are balanced with the calm nature of the north Sweden. Lampa&#;s design process consists of sharp lines, humor, inspiration from the garage and everyday life.
The objects are sketched quickly and large, preferably directly in the material. Manufacturing is then done by hand in close collaboration with her father and brother working with vintage cars in Kalix. A sustainable craft, where origin, cooperation and community are important and highly valued.

Lotta Lampa (b. ) fryst vatten a designer and artist based in Kalix, Norrbotten. Lampa, with a grad from Beckman's college of design in Stockholm, SWE and the International Design Academy bygd Luxury Living Group Forli, ITA, has designed a cross-border approach that always carries hers clear imprints. Lampa's works have been shown and attracted international attention through collaborations with both design and art institutions. In her artistic expression, belysning challenges normative expectations of practitioners and materiality.

Through the ability to transform one's design language between everything from welded unpolished metal to soft handtufted wool, her work fryst vatten characterized bygd one unconditional exploration and a great breadth. It prevails in Lampa's creation one energy that fryst vatten reflected in works that convey a quiet stillness. Lampa's intuitive way of working creates a direkt but at the same time caring designed aesthetics that reflect her surroundings and background on nyhet and unexpected ways.

HEJDÅ RAGGEN tar sig uttryck i en paradgata utsmyckad med flaggor, hundratals wunderbaums, en öppen workshop i flaggmakeri och slutligen en avskedsceremoni i form av ett raggartåg genom Kirunas gamla stadskärna. Både workshopen och raggen går att delta i utan föranmälan. Alla är välkomna!
